Going to the Hospital - The first chapter lists things to quickly grab when emergency strikes, while waiting for the ambulance.

Keep this list handy along with any of the the items listed below that you do not ordinarily use.

What to bring to the hospital in an emergency when you are too busy or too worried to think and a loved one is in critical condition:

a. Cell phone and charger, Internet access a plus
b. Healthy snack foods that fit in a purse
c. Water
d. Phone numbers (if they are not in your phone)
e. Book
f. Writing paper and pen
g. Sweater or coat or shawl
h. Appointment book if not contained in phone
i. List of medications and allergies to meds
j. List of doctors/care providers
k. Essential oils if you already use them. Can be a bit problematic in a hospital setting, but they were very helpful for us.
